We normally don't plan to do more than 2000 miles each month but this year is an exception given that we didn't start travelling until the 17th May
and the target for the month calls for 2200 miles. However we have been to many of the places and over many of the roads on this part of the tour and even this rate of travelling is only 150 miles a day. We will not be doing much in the way of tourist stops until we reach Canada. Having said that, there is lots of scenery which is worth seeing as we move from the desert to the mountains. It is mostly desolate country though, apart from
the Salt Lake City area - preparing us for what is to come as we travel on up to Alaska next month. |
