| Once known as 'The Brown Cow' this pub has enjoyed a chequered past. It
is now accurately known as 'The Riverside' no doubt because the rear
sun-deck is perched over the River Don. After a period of closure, manager
Harry Sahota has presided over a tasteful refurbishment and made a pitch
for the young and trendy of Sheffield. I am told that this includes Rapper
Dancers (whatever their age) and he wisely installed a wooden floor and
Real Ale along with the Fine Wines and Nouveau Cuisine. Recently road
tested and found to be Rapper Friendly!
