The Kelham Island Tavern....
Is DERT pub number 7. As the number of entrants passed 21, we knew we needed another pub for the tour. Just when we were beginning to despair, a little bird told us that the Kelham Island Tavern had re-opened. It was a sad little pub languishing in the shadow of the Fat Cat and then it closed.... Aah! |

| Then scaffolding appeared and workmen and lights and Bingo! a new watering hole just when and where we needed it. The Tavern has been brought to life by licensee Trevor...... who also runs the Rutland Arms in the city centre. The Rutland is famous for its beer and its garden and the K. I. Tavern looks like being just as good. Oh - and its got a hard floor. Drink & enjoy. | ||
