The Hillsborough Hotel is a comparative newcomer but is definitely neck & neck with the rest. After a period of closure, local entrepeneur Del Tilling initiated a tasteful refurbishment and the installation of a real ale bar.

The restaurant serves good food and accommodation is also available. The pub has a fine wooden floor and enjoys an outdoor decking area which has been recently covered with a conservatory giving two dance spaces. We hear that the Hillsborough is also going into the brewing business.
